At the end of May the EBR network successfully migrated to the new Service platform.
The EBR 3.0 Registry Platform delivers a centralised service-orientated architecture for the exchange of Business Registry Information. It provides an enhanced infrastructure and framework that allows for the deployment of components and services for the rapid and dynamic delivery of registry data.
The back-bone of the infrastructure is web-service based and offers a simple solution for integrating registers which run on disparate heterogeneous platforms. The EBR 3.0 platform addresses the deficiencies of the previous EBR platform while also providing flexibility to extend the product offering in both the inter-registry, e-Government and consumer channels.
The migration to the new platform has provided the EBR with a high-performance, high availability infrastructure that has already yielded impressive results in terms of Service reliability, performance and consumer experience.
